Ankit Ravindra Deshmukh obtained the B.Tech in Electrical Engineerineeringng from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Maharashtra, with a Silver Medal. He obtained his M.Tech and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He joined GE Research Bengaluru as a Research Engineer in May 2022 after completing his Ph.D. Since December 2022 he is an assistant professor at the School of Electrical Sciences, IIT Bhubaneswar.
His research domain is Control Systems. In particular, he is interested in Multivariable control systems, Periodic control, Robust and optimal control, data driven control and their applications to power systems, power electronics, unmanned vehicles etc. He is also interested in the area of sparse system identification, adaptive control and their related areas.
