Developments in Smart-Grid Technologies have gained momentum in recent years. This brings various issues starting from Integration and Control of Microgrids, Electric Vehicles, forecasting, wide area monitoring, communication, coordinated control & protection, security for effective and reliable operation of the electrical power networks. The 3rd National Workshop on RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN SMART-GRID TECHNOLOGIES (NWSGT-2023) “Microgrids and Electric Vehicles” aimed to include sessions with high-grade lecture talks and discussions followed by Laboratory practices on Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) and Renewable Emulator systems.
