Dr. Shreya Ghosh is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department, IIT Bhubaneswar and a former postdoctoral scholar at Pennsylvania State University, USA. Dr. Ghosh completed her Ph.D. at IIT Kharagpur in 2021 (July), specializing in semantic analysis of human movement behaviours for intelligent transportation and urban planning. Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics including misinformation detection leveraging linguistic cues, network structure analysis, night-time light data analysis, and spatial informatics. She has published in top-tier venues including AAAI ICWSM, ECML PKDD, WWW, ACM Hypertext, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Transactions on Network Sciences and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems etc., demonstrating her expertise in applied data science with a specific focus on NLP, Social media data analytics and spatio-temporal data mining (trajectory, IoST).
