Dr Sudipta Saha is an Assistant Professor in the discipline of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), School of Electrical Sciences (SES), Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar). He completed his BE in Computer Science and Technology (CST) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur in 2002. He received his Mtech and PhD degrees from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2008 and 2015, respectively. Dr Saha worked in software industries for several years after his BE and MTech. Before joining IIT Bhubaneswar he was associated with National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) for several years as a postdoctoral researcher.
Dr Saha is leading Decentralized and Smart Systems Research Group (DSSRG). The primary aim of this research group is design and developemet of cutting-edge technologies in the domain of Internet-of-Things (IoT) / Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and their applications in Multi-Robot-Systems, Multi-Drone Systems, Wireless Body Area Networks, Efficient Charging of EVs, Intelligent-Transportation Systems, Smart-Grid, Smart-City, Smart Inventory-Management. Dr Saha’s research works have been published in many top-tier venues. He is also serving as reviewer in several reputed conferences and journals.
