Dr. Dipankar De (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Bangalore, India, in 2011.,From 2011 to 2014, he was with The University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., where he was involved in the development of efficient energy storage systems and compact power converter design with wideband gap semiconductors. From 2014 to 2016, he was with Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada, as a Research Fellow and worked for a sponsored project funded by Rockwell Automation, Cambridge, ON, Canada. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the School of Electrical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar, India. His research interests include power converter systems for renewable energy, power quality, and wide band-gap semiconductor based power conversion.
